How to pay utility bills

Bring your bill and the money to 7-11.  Give it to the clerk, they’ll know what to do.  You literally just give them the money.  If you can’t read Chinese, just look for the date on it that’s coming up, that’s most likely the due date.  Or ask a friend who can read Chinese, so you won’t be late to pay your bills.  If this happens Kelly will have to go with you to the company to pay the bill and it’s a big pain.

You will have water and electricity bills and usually they will be put in the mail box of your apartment. Each bill will show you the cost of two months and deadline to pay. Make sure to check your mail box once a week and pay bills on time, or you have to go to the water and power corporation to pay which will take you more time and energy. Besides, if you pay after the due day a while, you will probably be fined. The fine will be included in your bill next time. The worst situation is if you totally forget to pay, not only you will have to pay lots of fines but also you will lose your power and water.
